ScottForge Reels is run by ScottForge in Youngstown, Ohio. This page says what we collect when you order a reel and what we do with it.
What we collect
What you type into the order form: the player's name, jersey number, position, school or team, graduation year, sport and team colours; your name and email address; the link to your clips; your song choice; and any notes. We also receive the videos and photos you share through that link.
What we use it for
To make and deliver the reel you ordered, and to write to you about that order. Nothing else. We don't sell or share your details, and we don't send marketing email.
Payment
You pay through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or Cash App, from a payment request we send you. Your card and bank details stay with them and never reach us.
Order emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service.
The finished reel
We send you the reel as a file and upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video, which means only people with the link can watch it. We show a reel on our website as a sample only if you ticked that box on the order form. You can change your mind at any time.
The Highlight Reel Maker app and YouTube
We make reels with our own Highlight Reel Maker app, which uploads finished reels to the ScottForge YouTube channel using YouTube API Services. The app only uploads videos to our own channel and reads that channel's name. It does not collect information about people who watch the videos. Use of YouTube is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The app's access to the channel can be removed at any time from the Google security settings page.
Children
Reels usually feature players under 18. We only take orders from a parent or guardian, or someone with their permission, and the order form asks you to confirm that.
Deleting your information
Email [email protected] and we will delete your footage, your reel, the YouTube upload and your order details, apart from the payment record we are required to keep.
